Today is the Mawlid Al-Nabi, the Prophet’s birthday. a group of male teens are shooting fireworks at each other ! it seems quite clearly one of side effect of armed revolution

Summer Days .. أيام الصيف

Group of young Libyan showing their jumping skills at the sea in one of hot summer days, If you are a young person in Libya it will be a nightmare when you want to spend your summer time. it is so difficult to find public or private centers to go for sport or music or any other activities, all what you can do with your friends is looking for empty or neglected land in your town to play football or small spaces on the sea. 

 مجموعة من الشباب الليبيين يظهرون مهاراتهم في القفز في البحر، أنه أشبه بكابوس إن كنت شاب ليبي حينما يتعلق الأمر بوقت فراغك أو بأوقات الصيف كيف ستمضيها فليس من السهل عليك إيجاد نوادي ترفيهية أو ثقافية سواء كانت خاصة أو عامة كل ماتستطيع عمله هوا البحث عن مساحات فارغة أو مهملة في منطقتك لتلعب كرة القدم مع أصدقائك أو أن تجد مساحة فارغة على البحر لقضاء وقتك. 

In The Fishermen Shacks : في أكواخ الصيادين

A project of invisible people

Sabratha is a small city. It is about 74Km west of Tripoli, there is a small seaport where a group of decayed and severely decomposed shacks. It looked randomly!. The time that I spent with About one-hundred Egyptian fishermen was too short. I tried to document a side of their lives outside the sea, where you can find some of them share their dreams, hopes and their family news, the other fishermen were " smoking " and a few were preparing their boats, nets and gadgets to go fishing again .if there is one thing that you cannot forget about them, it is about how they deal, support, respect, and love each other. They show their appreciation to the small city and it's resident.

في أكواخ الصيادين

مشروع "أشخاص غير مرئيون "

صبراته مدينة صغيرة تبعد حوالي 74 كيلو متر غرب طرابلس حيث يوجد مرفأ صيد صغير و بالقرب منه توجد مجموعة من الأكواخ المتهرئة متوزعة بشكل عشوائي يسكنها ما يقارب المائة صياد مصري

قضيت معهم وقت قصير جدا حاولت فيه أن أوثق جانب من حياتهم خارج البحر . حيث تجد مجموعة منهم يتشاركون أحلامهم و أمانيهم وقصص و أخبار الأهل البعض الأخر مجتمعين " يدخنون " وأما البقية يجهزون قواربهم وشباكهم ومعداتهم لمغامرة جديدة فى البحر ما تلاحظه جليلا ابتسامتهم الدائمة العلاقة الطيبة الدعم و حبهم لبعضهم و يبدو واضحا أيضا تقديرهم للمدينة الصغيرة صبراتة وأهله.
